A B2B LinkedIn campaign making the case for Stax, from developer to CIO.
At a glance
Tonic created a B2B lead generation campaign introducing Stax to businesses that run on AWS, with tailored LinkedIn messages for each role, from developer to CIO. LinkedIn ads, display banners, email and a landing page drove demo bookings, backed by a competition to win a trip to AWS re:Invent in Las Vegas.

The brief
Create a digital lead-generation campaign that introduced Stax to businesses working within AWS and encourage them to book a demo. A competition to win a trip to Re:Invent Las Vegas gave potential customers another reason to take a look.

The challenge: different reasons to care
Stax helps businesses manage their AWS cloud environments, covering everything from costs and security to maintenance. There was plenty to talk about, but different people needed different reasons to care.
A developer’s day-to-day concerns aren’t the same as a CIO’s. We needed to explain the benefits in a way that made sense to each audience, while keeping the campaign clear and consistent.

The strategy: LinkedIn messages for each role
We created targeted LinkedIn messages that focused on what mattered to each audience, showing how Stax could help with the challenges they faced at work. The rollout was across LinkedIn ads, animated and static digital banners, and email assets. We also wrote and designed a landing page that explained the competition, introduced Stax and directed visitors to book a demo.

The solution: a coordinated B2B lead campaign
The competition wrapped up with a winner declared. The campaign gave Stax a coordinated set of creative assets and tailored messages to introduce its services to different audiences, supported by a prize relevant to the people it wanted to reach.
