OsteVit-D, an Australian-owned bone health brand specialising in vitamin D and calcium supplements, lacked a strong online presence due to an outdated website and inconsistent branding. The goal was to rework the UI/UX to better define and showcase their range of products and make it easier for consumers to find supplements that match their needs.
The existing OsteVit-D website was outdated, lacked intuitive navigation, and failed to clearly differentiate between products. Similarities in packaging and product labels made it difficult for customers to quickly identify the right supplement. The absence of formal brand guidelines also led to inconsistent use of the brand’s signature yellow, which the client wanted to emphasise as a key visual element rather than a secondary colour.
We began by mapping out a new site structure through wireframes, ensuring client approval before moving into design. Products were organised into clear categories, distinguishing them by attributes such as calcium content and dosage frequency (daily vs. weekly). These distinctions were reflected in product cards to reduce confusion.
We also introduced a Comparison Page concept, enabling customers to view product attributes side-by-side—an idea the client immediately embraced.
For the brand’s visual direction, we established a cohesive system for using yellow as a primary highlight against the brand’s blue. Yellow was strategically placed in backgrounds, buttons, and footers to stand out without overpowering the overall design.
The redesigned UI/UX improved navigation, clarified product differences, and created a more engaging online experience. The refreshed brand and visual direction positioned yellow as a confident, memorable signature, strengthening OsteVit-D’s identity. The tone of voice was updated to be approachable, informative, and reassuring—aligning with the brand’s mission to support bone health for people of all ages.
The result was a modern, user-friendly, and visually consistent brand presence that made it easier for customers to find the right supplement for their needs.
